Apparently, it is "no longer appropriate" to highlight Black businesses separate from other businesses in NC. We are no longer a special group of consideration.

And yet...

Women-focused entrepreneur data in the database is allowed to stand separate.

I've lodged a complaint and await a response.

Y'all know Juneteenth, but remember, that's about Texas. For many back East, freedom came sooner. For years, Emancipation Day was celebrated in my ancestors' region on April 3, when the Union arrived and Confederates fell in Richmond. In DC, they celebrate a few weeks later.
