Today in Random: Apparently my dislike of watermelon extends to the watermelon flavored Warheads.

I was Today's Years Old when I learned that Alyson Hannigan (Willow on Buffy) is married to Alexis Denisof (Wesley on Buffy). And apparently still married since 2003. Good on them!

Today is already a bad brain day for my attention span and focus. I'm at that mid point to where I might be able to reign myself in and be productive, but most likely this might be a day off. We'll see how things go...

"I hate to write, but I love having written" was a quote I used to balk at, as my youthful enthusiasm & energy levels allowed me to do both. But now, I feel it. Oh, the quote is so painfully true.

Airlines cont so we tried to get our paper boarding passes in person & was shocked to see that we still didn't have seats, but marked standby. Standby to seats we booked back in April. We should've been the 1st economy passengers boarding instead the absolute last (or being bumped to a later flight)

Speaking of price gouging, let's talk about airlines. Usually you can navigate around random fees. But sometimes you get hit out of the blue like we did tonight. Tried to confirm our return seats, but every single one came with a surcharge. No Bueno.

It's sad when you see a cool sounding concert and as you're considering it, you are soon disappointed by spotting the TicketMaster logo. Le sigh. Still saying no to price gouging as much as possible.
09:37 PM - Aug 19, 2023
This is very much another executive dysfunction day. I can't focus on nearly anything. So far I've only been able to eat brunch, brush my teeth, & take out trash. So many emails need to be answered and the car needs to be taken for an oil change. Ugh.
03:43 PM - Aug 03, 2023
Got up super early today and now I'm super tired. Last few days have been pretty cloudy, so that could be why I've been so drained. Meh.

I know we're not supposed to give into negative self talk, but eh, I deserve it. Kittie is so right... I suck. But still working it out... https://youtu.be/T-Mugvmpa...

Buckling down on my first work day of salvaging files with my art team. I'm trying to fight off the loss, disappointment, hurt, pain, & disgust of losing the past 7 years of work, photos, music, etc. to just focus on the repetition. We'll see how this goes...

Posting from the freshly downloaded mobile app! Nice to finally have the option to post from laptop or phone now. Let's see if I can get into the habit of posting regularly...

I dig this perspective and was aiming to do something similar. Spoutible is still pretty new and I haven't gotten into the habit of using it regularly yet, but hopefully it'll "click" for me soon!
Steve Marmel @MarmelI'm going to use @Spoutible a little differently than I did Twitter. More follows. More exploring the full feed. More amplifications.10:19 AM - Feb 10, 2023

Woke = Empathy + Courage
You either Have the Courage to NOT feel threatened by caring for other people that are different than you or you don't. The GOP & those like them, Don't Have that Courage & they mask their fear, hate & lack of courage as a bravado, which is very odd & pathetic.

I really hope that #Netflix will reconsider this terrible news about stopping the DVD rentals. Not everything is available on streaming and this service is needed to supplement that gap. #NetflixDVDs

I just read this email myself. It's nice to have a platform that cares enough to address things of this nature and takes swift steps to curb or eradicate it.
Omar Moore @popcornreelThis is leadership. This is what is called adults in the room. Thank you for doing the right thing and swiftly eradicating racism from Spoutible, @cbouzy . Responsible leadership is in short supply on social media, and you sir are a beacon of light. #Spoutible @Spoutible12:46 PM - Apr 17, 2023

I'm surprisingly in a great mood today, which is... unusual. Lots of the usual irritants going on that keep me jaded, but somehow today I'm... hopeful? It's strange, but I'm going to embrace it and roll with it!

I loved this Ahsoka teaser and will probably watch it multiple times today! Loved seeing the Rebels crew in live action and I'm hoping that was Chantique from the comics as one of the antagonists!

With another new Mandalorian episode comes another wave of internet outrage from "fans." This sport of people hating nearly everything in shows, movies, comics, etc really ruins the drive to create anything in any medium. Going to try and push through it to try and be productive somehow...

Since I won't be able to get any work done anytime soon, what should I watch?

Ah, the torture of Fridays... woke up early to barking neighbor dogs and now the horrid sounds of leaf blowers. Sound sensitivities SUUUUUUCK.

I really want to explore this site more, but I really need to try and get some work done. Soooo... gotta close this tab out and get to it.

Wait, there isn't a Spoutible app yet? Interesting... almost like a reverse IG.
