Did this site literally become a ghost town? I'm frustrated with ground roots sites like this one becoming passe after the new, shiny toy comes on the market. Also known as threads. People rail against big corp and media dominating until they realize that likes and followers are more important.

Is anyone on here anymore? I refuse to go to the billionaire corporate sites. And here's the thing about these SM platforms. The vast majority of us who care about them are north of 50 y.o. The younger generation doesn't visit Twitter, Threads. They frequent more relatable sites.

They're learning far more in the halls during breaks and lunch. In fact, by default, educators are actually far behind the kids in terms of what we know compared to them. Kinda like with tech. Us old timers are far behind the curve compared to kids these days.
