How about we focus our efforts on natural intelligence instead of artificial intelligence?

I find it very disturbing that people give more respect for an unborn embryo, than they do for actual, living human beings...It vaguely sounds like an excerpt of the blurb of a dystopian novel.

You cannot speak vehemently ill of a game you haven't even played. You can dislike its hype or something externally derived from it; that is fine, but you CANNOT formalize an opinion of a game if you haven't even PLAYED it!

"Look at the size of this penis in this pucture some random guy sent me without consent or warning or anything! I'm gonna marry him and we're gonna have lots of kids and a big house together!" said no woman, ever.

One of the most unexpectedly agonizing parts of being a woman is having to check your Messenger's spam folder, and hoping there's no unsolicited dick pic waiting for you.

I've nothing against Palworld (largely because, while I have it in Steam and installed on my computer, I've not yet touched it, so I really can't have an opinion on it), but I do fear they're gonna get sued up to their eyeballs...

Forgive me if I'm mistaken here, but it grinds my gears when people confuse "open-world" with "sandbox."

Open-world games are like Breath of the Wild and Just Cause: they feature big, explorable worlds and story beats that you can tackle in a non-linear order...

Bigots be like, "I don't use pronouns!"

Ya just did! Literally everyone does, regardless of anything to do with their core identity.

Just saw someone on Reddit say that realistic graphics don't age well...Okay, fair enough, but then why does modern gaming feel like one giant arms race of each developer trying to make their games look as lifelike as possible, instead of making them POLISHED and not feel half-baked or rushed?

Reasons I always wear shoes:

• Wood and tiled flooring are COLD
• I cringe at the idea of my feet getting dirty
• Accidentally stubbing your toes or having your feet stepped on hurts a lot less with shoes
• Shoes serve as good makeshift spider-crushers
• I just don't like people seeing my feet

EA featured this household they made in Sims 4 for this new "Goth Kit" they released recently, and the shared date was May 21st, 2014...The game didn't even initially come out until September 2nd, 2014. 🤦‍♀️

I wish people believed in science with the same devout, unrelenting loyalty and enthusiasm that they do religion.

People have the constitutional right to practice whatever religion they want; I simply wish their unproven faiths didn't supercede definitive, proven, indisputable facts.

Simmers: "Wow, that last Expansion Pack was crap! It was buggy as hell and totally not worth the $40 pricetag!"

Simmers: *Buys next $40 Pack*

Simmers: "Wow, this Expansion Pack is crap! It's buggy as hell and broken beyond belief!"

Simmers: *Buys next $40 Pack*

...Anyone sensing a pattern here?

I will never understand why being toxic is so ubiquitous with being a gamer...It makes non-toxic gamers look bad, and it gives gamers in general a bad name! Nowhere does being a gamer - casual, avid, competitive, or otherwise - necessitate toxicity.

I've always found terms like "Must-Watch" and "Must-Buy" and "Must-Play" to be rather obnoxious - and I'd even argue self-imperialistic, since it implies that whatever game, movie, show, it is, is inherently more important than others. I wouldn't call any game I play "more important" than others.

I'd like to see a store where only rich people can - and have to - shop, and everything costs a million dollars. A bunch of bananas? Million. A loaf of bread? Million. A package of deli meat? Million. A pack of batteries? Million.

Wonder how quickly they realize that inflation sucks. Any takers?

Loyalty is an admirable thing to employ on its own; however, I feel I should remark, that loyalty loses its meaning if one's loyalty to someone or something compromises their personal integrity, and/or blinds them to a system that takes advantage of them. Taking advantage of others is unacceptable.

I feel like we should implement a "checks and balances" system for the greater economy - so no business becomes too dominating in their respective field - especially at the expense of smaller businesses, and so newer upstarts have a fighting chance to further deter monopolization.

Shaming someone for how they play a game - in any way - is not only mean, but I'd also deem it ableist. Unless they're outright cheating in a competitive, multiplayer scenario, they have the right to play what they want, how they want, in whatever way they want!

I feel like a more open and transparent government would minimize the invention and propegation of conspiracy theories. After all, with less to hide, there's less to speculate about, and thus, less to be paranoid about - for better or for worse.

I feel like everyone who's ever said, "Just be yourself, and people will like you for who you are," never had trouble making friends, and thus, appeared as though they were inherently liked for who they were...I don't think a single socially challenged person has ever said that to me.

Account security is meaningless if it prevents the user from accessing their own account. I can understand and appreciate security protocols on principle to verify authorization, but it does no one any good if they can't even access their own account!
