The Dolores Huerta Foundation (where she still works!!) is located in Bakersfield CA where I lived for > 30 years. I worked with some of the best people. The DACA folks still weigh heavily on my mind; often so gifted but limited by the constraints placed on them by our government.

I had a post here about César Chávez being the author because I always thought he was the one who came up with it, but I looked it up and it actually it WAS Delores Huerta, who thought it up during his fast in Phoenix in 1972. So ... corrected :)
