I used to buy close to a hundred books a year. We cut way back on buying all kinds of things a few years ago to reduce our impact on the environment. I miss new books and check out almost everything I read from the library now. Also tired of dusting all the books on our shelves.

I borrowed Happiness Falls from the library but now I'm going to buy the book; that's how good it is! Kudos to Angie Kim who managed to cross genres and teach science and philosophy while keeping me interested in the backstory of this very interesting family dynamic. Enjoy!

I had an exciting morning. A mother squirrel and 3 babies were running up and down a tree near our house for over an hour. I wasn’t able to get a good photo of all 4, but managed to get several nice ones of the 3 babies and mom with 2 babies. I have never seen baby squirrels in the wild before.

This snow/ice #storm came with poor visibility, stealth winds & panic as we followed a snow plow for safety. Cars peeled off to their destination & I remained with the snow plow.

Heart racing for 30 mins of crawl up/down slippery & treacherous slopes to a hot cup of tea.
