Yesterday was awful! 🤢 I woke up at 5am with a terrible migraine, and then accidentally took too much of my migraine meds. I took the max dose in 24 hrs in an hour (half asleep and pain). About the time the migraine stopped, I started vomiting, cold sweats, shortness of breath. Yay for charcoal!

My 20 yr niece just msgd me after 2 yrs. She (& her mom) caused drama (per usual for my s.i.l.) in my family that has left my recently widowed mother isolated from their family, and 1,000 miles away from me, after she raised those kids. My reply was to fix that before reaching out to me.

Took off early this afternoon and drove back roads to Ann Arbor and back. We find ourselves in awe of our state's beauty. Beautiful homes, beautiful land, so green, flowers starting to bloom, deer and turkey out, farms plowing and planting for the season. Beats TX by a million.

Growing up in Texas, you have access to the best donuts. You never even realize it until you leave the state. The best donut shops were/are owned by Asian families. Their recipe is just lighter than any others. Are the Asian family donut shops unique to Texas?

Chef Dan Lansberg in Dallas is amazing. Last I heard he was at Hall Arts. He just elevates everything, the way he balances the flavors and puts so much thought into each dish. I was lucky enough to work with him (non-kitchen role) for years and will forever compare food to his.

So it's going to be during Women's History Month that our courts are going to take away the rights of women to have medications and treatments they need? In every state, women's rights to bodily autonomy and knowing what is right for their own lives and bodies will be stopped. Time to march... again
