Last night, I saw a gas price of $2.99 per gallon, the lowest it has been in a year or more. That this does not translate into lower prices at the grocery store is indicative of the price gouging going on by manufacturers.

Just got out of my first Sparks concert, and it was so very good! One of my favorite concert experiences. Russell Male is like 74, but he's so energetic dancing around the stage and not missing a note! Audience was really into it too! Been to a lot of concerts, but this was up there.

The only thing that upsets me about how fast Twitter is circling the toilet bowl is that the only alternatives people seem to be talking about are BlueSky and Mastodon.
Neither of those will replace Twitter but I fear it will take longer than it should for others to realize that.

Man, I realized how old I'm getting (38 next week) when I went to Kennywood the other day and was so quickly tired out. It isn't even a big park! I know my meds and health problems (diabetes and UC) dont help, but it's a bit depressing. Amusement parks are my big hobby.

$$ problems give me anxiety at least once a week, but I know I'm far better off than others. Never had to miss a mortgage payment or decide which bills to pay. Just wallowing in debt and trying to get out of the quicksand it is.

I miss living in a college town. The one I Iived in from 2005 to mid 2008 had a vibe I liked. I now live in a poor city next to an army base. It's okay, and unlike the college town I was in, votes D, but it's actually more conservative surprisingly. Need to move to a college town again sometime.

Gonna see Evil Dead Rise tomorrow! The first one is still my favorite, whereas most prefer the more humorous sequels. I like the raw viscera of the original. The low budget and 16mm make it seem kind of dangerous or forbidden. The new one won't do that, but it sure looks visceral. #EvilDeadRise
