COVID vaccines reduce COVID related hospitalisations by 40% in children. It is not rocket science that we need ongoing protection for our children.

If we would collect enough data, we will see how the virus is getting stronger and that vaccines are saving lives and trouble. NYC data shows worse hospitalisation rates for the unvaccinated.
Expected and logical.

'COVID emergency is over ' (not COVID), says WHO .

Do remember that it continues to debilitate us in many different ways, causing chronic illnesses.

Some will understand it now, some in a few years and a few perhaps never.

Meanwhile, SARS will continue its 'impact' ☹️

For the last three years all of us have been through a lot, and made it alive.
Many many still suffer from pain, reduced quality of life, worsened finances, further risks ...
Be mindful, be kind. Stay updated, stay protected.

Dear elite athletes, athletes and everyone :),

If there are two things you can do to keep good health and increase performance, please ensure great sleep and well-maintained oral health (often neglected)

It will work wonders.

Going forward reduced capturing of data will hide the reality of COVID infections, admissions and death. But for now it is clear that the baseline infections even without any waves are up. Hospitals have permanent added burden. Constant influx of long covid too.

Significant change:
As per new NICE guidelines (updated evidence) for diabetes, the second drug after Metformin to be 'added' in majority of patients would be SGLT2 inhibitor.

A clear cardiovascular benefit.

Check with your doctor if you need to update.

An 'older' study, but we should keep reminding ourselves of its findings. The risks of cardiovascular diseases worsen more than 50% following COVID infection.

Add to that the incremental risks of re-infections.
Cases r rising again. No one is talking 😡
