I am trying to find a video so I can post it

If news organizations are afraid to air stories that are critical of powerful figures, then it will be much more difficult for the public to hold those figures accountable.

Showtime's decision to pull the show is a significant one, as the network is willing to censor its programming in order to avoid political controversy.

This is a worrying development, as it raises questions about the future of independent journalism in the United States.

I'm note 100% sure.

Human evolution is based on a variety of cooperation strategies, including care/compassion, reciprocity, fairness, fidelity, shared beliefs, shared values, etc.

I am not sure if synthetic evolution will be similar, the same, or different.

Hitler only received a 5 year sentence for trying to overthrow the government. He served less than a year in prison, before becoming chancellor of Germany. We may be making the same mistake.

Inflation is currently moderating. Oil prices are down. As long as we keep throwing up new solar & wind, energy prices will go down. New sodium battery tech will usher in more EVs.

So, lots of good energy & inflation news.

We need that debt ceiling problem in the rearview mirror.

Bad public policy has real life consequences.

These states will have higher death rates, fewer people moving there, and fewer large businesses entering because of this policy.

Correct. As other smarter people have said, morality is the glue that holds relationships, groups, societies, and cultures together.

The basic moral building blocks are care and reciprocity, which are built on trust.

The human superpower is cooperation.

While mentioned briefly in the review, scrupulosity is highly correlated with spirituality & OCD. I think that scrupulosity can emerge in adolescence or early adulthood, which can be a factor in how religious idealism shapes negative emotional responses to sex and sexuality. IMHO

Musk's psychopathy knows no bounds.

Taibbi's gullibility finally hit a limit.

Musk's #FreeSpeech doctrine was never about free speech. It was some ill-conceived, Rand-esque philosophical disguise to push his agenda and silence others.
