I stopped downtown on may home today to take this photo for the #DailyPictureTheme . It is the #Clock tower at my local courthouse.

At the base of the tower is an arched entrance to the courthouse. The tower is on one of the corners of the courthouse. The tower and courthouse are made of gray bricks.

I had a treat listening to 8 song birds yesterday during my walk back from dropping my car off at the mechanic. Usually, I hear only one in the Arboretum - the American Robin. Here are a few pics I took during my walk through the City Park and Arboretum, which was another treat!

This is one of the wayfinding posts in downtown Salem, Oregon. The panels with arrows point to historical or cultural assets (burgundy color) or state government destinations (blue color). The hand at the top of the post? No clue. Seems like a friendly "Hi there!" though.

I saw this leather art in a little shop in Ashland, Oregon and immediately loved it. That was about 30 years ago!

In relief, two honey-brown faces are side-by-side and facing forward. Black folds swirl around the faces. This entire work is made from one piece of leather that is molded and dyed.
