Facebook denied two of my posts. One was a shared article on Justice Kagan turning down bagels from her former college mates due to ethics concerns. The other was an AP article on the TX murderer getting 25 years. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Tomorrow is 30 days since Loved One’s surgery. But for the complications and extended stay, his rehab might have been further along. Tomorrow he attempts the journey up the stairs.

Good morning everyone! I took on my mom's dog because she is not doing well. That puts us at 5 dogs. Let's hope I didn't get her too late. She has diabetes and requires fluids everyday.

A parent complained her 2nd grader should not see this movie. Pinellas County pulled the movie for review. There are very few certified reviewers which guarantees it won't be shown.

My daughter didn't get into her first choice school. She has a very good backup but she's really bummed. This college application process is brutal. We are older parents and even my husband with a graduate degree from a very good school isn't sure he would be accepted with today's criteria.

My daughter is taking a college level acting class. The play she is assigned is very intense. We just watched a YouTube video of the play and I was sobbing like an idiot. Current events are just really messing with my emotions.

Our FL homeowners insurance went up $800 to $4500 last year. I just read it is expected to go up 50% in June. In 21 years we've never had to file a claim and our home is not in a flood zone. We live inland about 15 minutes from the closest beach. Car insurance is just as bad.
