Black people did not learn agricultural skills via slavery. Let’s be VERY clear.

Black people already had the knowledge and skills!

It was colonists who had no idea how to grow crops and preserve food; so they exploited and bought Black people to put their skills to work in the Americas.

Last night at the GRAMMY Museum, I gave an impromptu lesson showing the throughline from #doowop to #kpop in the green room using my #graphicfacilitation skills on a mirror. One of the attendees jokingly asked, "Are you saying Blacks invented everything cool in America?" #blackmusic
