Don't be a dick. If someone points out that you've been a dick, do what you can to change your outlook and attitude so that you don't continue being a dick. It's not easy, but it's the right thing to do.

A friend’s daughter was called the n word and told “ I hate Black people” by a fellow kindergartner. I wonder where a 5 yo learned that? Btw, the parents of said racist-in-training are not yet 30. To expect racism to “die off” is delusional and privileged.

In my experience and opinion, nothing justifies using someone’s mental health issues as a weapon against them.
As a psychologist, I work with folks who experience this on a daily basis and it’s heartbreaking 💔

And I've stayed away a bit because of the rage I've been feeling since we are now at a point the assholes think slavery was beneficial to Black People.

Washington state passes assault weapons ban! See, if you have a democratic governor, democrats in control of the House and Senate, concerned citizens, and an electorate that cares more about people’s safety than money from the NRA, this is doable.

I'm not a sports fan and for the most part don't know which teams play which sports. I'll tune in to the Olympics once in awhile if I remember they are happening. I like the Bengals because they have cool helmets. None of this makes me want to change the mind of folks who love sports.

Wow! Four of the quartets that made the top 10 at #BHS2023 are from the Mid-Atlantic District (my home district)! Lemon Squeezy is back keeping the Swedes in the top 10 and the Mic Testers (11th place) are from Canada. It's going to be interesting to see where the medals fall!

I'm so, so sick of universities & the press presenting open bigotry as a "free speech" issue. We simply do not need to and should not provide a platform for hatred. Pushing back on bigotry is also free speech, but almost never defended as such.

Deb @DarcaNot very creative. But this was my favorite board game; hard to play casually, so I’d often play alone taking on all 4 roles.
But I haven’t been able to play it since 3/2020. That fact still makes me sad. And I’m almost able to play it again.
