It's #BandcampFriday ! I'd love to point you to the pre-orders for the real-life physical version of our latest album! These songs jangle through a loop of a journey, from home to eternity and back again. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

The LED bulb I just installed says it is supposed to last 22 years. Just noting that here so I can check back at 4:42 PM, January 16, 2046.

If you think of it, remind me.

I watched a doc about the band Kansas yesterday. It had two famous musician interviews, Brian May and Garth Brooks. It was a strange documentary arc, starting at the beginning, following as they grew, and ending at their highest point after Dust in the Wind. Nothing after.

I found an old 8mm video tape today that contained an interview an old band of mine did. In it, I spoke about how great it was that people from all over the world could listen to a band's music, thanks to sites like MP3 dot com.

No matter how old you are, someone older is wishing they could be your age again.

(Except for you, oldest person in the world.)

I finally got a chance to watch Squaring the Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis). Loved it. It made me want to put more effort into making art. I put on A Saucerful of Secrets right after and had a recording session that night. https://www.squaringthecir...

At the old Lechmere in Boston, there used to be a dishwasher on display with a clear front door so you could see and hear the sprayers in action. I freakin' loved that thing.

Guitar players all over the world, thank your lucky stars for the continuing tradition of that little extra pocket in jeans. They call it the watch pocket. I call it the pick pocket.

Somewhere out there right now a teenager is wearing headphones and discovering a song that will change the way they see everything. They'll know the song for the rest of their life.

I just got back from a crisp December morning stroll to the local grocery store, on the way I passed the beaver pond on the bike path. At the store I picked up two boxes of english breakfast tea and three books of snowglobe postage stamps. Who am I? Lake Wobegon?

It's interesting how after a while you stop noticing the things hanging on your walls. That picture of an owl? You haven't looked at it for years. You ever just walk around and look at the things in the frames? Probably not. But someone visiting would be all over that.
