Every now and then I wade in to a gun control topic on Twitter and debate people. They always use the same tropes, never have facts to back things up.
It is tiresome, but I hope people see the debate, the reality of the topic, and realize we both need and can have gun reform.

That isn't news or surprising.

But, by settling, this will be buried within a couple of days and those who need to hear it most won't. Settlements are used specifically to keep the information quiet.

After Tennessee, Republicans said we needed to give every teacher a gun.
They specifically called out places like banks as having armed guards and being secure.
Tragically, today confirmed that having armed guards does not stop shootings.

Now Trump has been arrested. Republicans do worse with each new election. And the Progressive movement is making gains.

Tuesday night was a success for liberals and progressives. Wisconsin Supreme Court now has a Democrat majority.
Chicago now has a very progressive Mayor. Johnson will have a lot of pressure on him as both sides look to use him as a talking point in 2024.
