Trying get even a virtual visit with anyone in the clinic. As a nurse seems an unacceptable way to navigate a new cancer diagnosis with a 92 year old. Isn’t the point of a PCP to have someone treating you and caring for you who knows you? Definitely not the individual doctors fault. #brokensystem .

Yes the healthcare system is an unmitigated disaster, new low today. Friends mom goes to ER with GI bleed. Path report of cancer called to friend 8 days later- instructed to call PCP for appt and oncology referral. Friend calls PCP can fit her in in December. SHE HAS NEWLY DIAGNOSED CANCER. WTAF.
