It's hard for me to see why we're even taking seriously the question of presidential immunity. The founders wanted a president, not a king, and they sure didn't want a lawless, morally bankrupt authoritarian in that office unchecked.

I feel like we need some cosmic mother to knock some heads together in the Middle East. She divvies up land and resources fairly, takes away all the weapons, tells everybody they'd better keep their hands to themselves or "There's gonna be Big Trouble and I'm not kidding around!" And means it.

Lost my wallet yesterday. Husband and I looked for hours, couldn't find it. Thought maybe it fell out of my purse downtown. He dreamed last night he lost his wallet, and someone told him to look "down and under." He went back to the car (5th time) and down and under the car was my wallet. Crazy!!

When a family member, living in a nursing home and sharing a room with two other people, got COVID, I asked if she'd be moved out of that room. Nope. You had to wear a gown and N95 to go see her, but the other two residents were in there with no protection at all. Shameful.

While prejudice against seniors isn’t new, it’s gotten worse during the pandemic. Young people should have a stake in fighting it, since many will be seniors one day.

I asked my 22 y.o. granddaughter if she and her friends are concerned about #climatechange and she said they do projects about it in college but it's not really something they ever talk about. I said it's people her age who will really suffer. Not really surprised, I guess, but sad.

They were wrong. We are not ok. We are not getting throught it. We are not surviving this.
