Fine art photographer here. Contests are fine, and pros can choose to participate or not. Rising artists may well welcome the addition to their resume, while established folks see it as too little. Involving community is what was done even with the first logo iteration. Personal choice. 👏👏👏

As a design and branding professional, I can see some of the concerns being expressed by my peers. And they are legitimate concerns. BUT, seeing how spoutible is entirely crowd sourced, this contest is...interestingly enough, remarkably on-brand. I hope it's successful.
