Yesterday, one of my best friends, who has had a bonkers work schedule, volunteered on her own to take me to my blood draw.
Afterward, she had apple slices, unsalted almonds, and dark chocolate waiting in the car.
I love her so much.

One of the hardest parts of living w/ a degenerative illness is that you're almost always sicker than you were this time last yr.

Hamas has killed Jewish kids and now Israel is killing Palestinian kids and the only thing these children did was arrive on Earth in a historically unstable region.

You can condemn Hamas w/out furthering anti-Arab hatred and you can condemn the Israeli government w/out being an anti-Semite.
