Ol' Mittens Romney also thinks salmon is best eaten with ketchup, so I'm not sure why anyone would pay attention to his opinions.

I'm confused by this video. The guy immediately starts screaming at the border patrol agent, cursing and calling her bitch. He cites Constitutional Amendment numbers willy-nilly, and nobody seems to know what's going on. I don't think the guy who posted the video proves his point, whatever it was.

There's something pathetic in the MAGA need to equate anything any MAGA does as hypermasculine. Their Alpha Male delusion, constantly blared, is what I would mock, and I think that's what a lot of people are getting at when they comment on these bizarre T-shirts and their wearers. Not all, but many.

I would mock these T-shirt wearers because the whole diaper thing is something that can (and should) be ignored by all. It shows a typically skewed MAGA mentality to lionize TFG's supposed incontinence, when we all know how they'd act if any Dem politician was said to have an incontinence issue.

To be clear, I'm not saying HR6090 is a good idea; I'm just concerned about whether it's being described accurately.

I think it's smart to start out with fines and a warning of jail time. Next stop should be either a couple of hours/overnight in the holding cell (to start) or an order of jailing after the trial ends. Also tell TFG the court's giving formal notice to all the other courts of his criminal violation.

That's an impressive snow photo! Here in midcoast Maine we had a lot of rain this winter, and not much snow except two big dumps: 14 inches on January 7 and 8.5 inches on April 3-4. Otherwise, several times we got about two inches that would then disappear in a following rain.

We rescued Nina almost four years ago when she was 14 months old. She was such a handful for the first few weeks that I broke down in tears one day thinking we might have to do something drastic . . . like return her to the rescue org, not blow her head off.

Good point. As a former Californian, though, I felt sick at Schiff using $11M of contribution dollars to pump up Garvey's campaign, all because he was too afraid to run head to head against Katie Porter. How about letting Californians decide which Dem they want to represent them?

Respectfully disagree. She is one of a few politicians focusing in a big way on institutionalized economic unfairness to women and the working class. She decided to go for a bigger platform for that; not power in itself.

Téa Leoni as Nora Wilde in The Naked Truth. (Mid-1990s. Never understood why Leoni didn't become a great comedic actress. She was practically Lucille Ball-like at physical comedy.)

Patriots D looked good. I sure hope their regular season O-line looks better than what we saw last night and that Mac Jones is in good form. I'm intrigued by what Malik Cunningham might offer in some special plays as QB, not just as a QB backup or WR/special teams guy.

I think Biden meant he knows Harris as a person, not just as his VP. By contrast, I doubt Trump knew Pence personally, because if he did, he'd have known Pence was never going to go for Trump's J6 plan for Pence.

When I was in college, my (later) husband and I lived within a couple of blocks of The Medici restaurant on 57th Street. They had great pan pizza. But I also liked the tavern style with the crisp crust and square-cut pieces, then Edwardo's stuffed pizza. I miss all the great Chicago food!

The US (mainly Republican) xenophobic opposition to immigration is hurting our present and future economy. Republican politicians want to cut back or eliminate Social Security, when a far better solution would be to increase immigration to fill jobs to help fund SSec and increase economic growth.

Even young families can benefit from house designs for the elderly/disabled. Otherwise you can be stuck in your house--not even be able to get to your bedroom--if you break a leg or have surgery. The family of that young boy who was shot and paralyzed in Highland Park is facing huge reno costs now.
