See, it's simple, police other men. Then you can stop being offended that we chose the bear.

Men KNOW men are dangerous. THEY KNOW.

They know what they, themselves would do if they also know they'd get away with it.

They gaslight us.

The anger is because the gaslighting doesn't work anymore.

This is one of those moments we need a "Super Like"
MEN POLICE OTHER MEN
Do MEN know how exhausting it is daily to live in a patriarchy?
They really want us all dead at this point. Because these last few days have been mental.

One hundred fucking percent THIS.

Instead of telling us to choose better men, men need to work on being better men.

Hell, most men will admit to being scared of other men depending on the circumstances. Why do you think they buy guns? You only need defense from a threat

I think homophobia stems from the fear of being subject to the same violence from men as women, in a large part.

But addressing gender-based harm and "norms" absolutely helps everyone.

Bottom line is this: if you don't want women to fear ALL MEN WE DON'T KNOW...

Put the work in to make men less scary, less dangerous, less unhinged.

Police other men, men.

POLICE OTHER MEN.

Because men are quick to say not all men, but also quick to say we should "know."

So which is it?

And why is our safety less important than their feeling awkward or bad because we can't see the future?

But these are men who tell the women they will brutalize they love them. How are women supposed to know when it's a lie and when it is not?

These are men who will pretend to enjoy your company until you are clear that company does not include sex. How are we supposed to divine that?

Because what they demand is a constant mind reading, a constant knowing of intentions.

"We should be more careful."

"Choose men better."

As though violent men, cruel men, dangerous men wear a sign or introduce themselves that way.

But we're supposed to "know."

I did attempt, but I can rarely make progress on a Sunday one. Until recently I got the Monday-Friday delivered. I’m far more successful on paper and can usually complete Monday through Wednesday without Googling anything. I really can’t get the hang of the online thing, so annoying!

This is why I stopped giving them money.

And there’s no way I could find an actual hard copy here in rural Canada.

Still, congratulations on the achievement.
