Just returned from a mushroom foraging class, and only now realized our instructor is a cancer researcher and scientist with NIH! The dude was amazing and we were able to find dozens of morels which we got to cook up and eat!! What a great Saturday. 😊🍄

I figured out the walks I take (about 25 mins long) while my kids are in their MMA classes, is approximately 1⅓ mis. I'm trying to add more dog walks to supplement this and track my ongoing efforts.

Doc called with my blood work numbers. A1C fell .1! Lower cholesterol (was already low), with all other numbers fell as well! All this working out and eating well is working! Who knew?

I'm not saying, NP/PA's know more than MD's, but anecdotally, I can say that my experiences with an NP/PA have all been excellent. They tend to listen and respond to my questions informatively and with great care. Not to say my doctors have been worse but I appreciate the level NP/PAs have gone.

Had to remove two trees from the property that were dying. One which a mourning dove couple had made a home. Poor thing kept coming back to the spot wondering where the tree was. In a couple days we'll replace new bushes there and will setup a bird house in the other trees we have and will plant.

Second day in a row, managed to get a racquetball sesh in on am outdoor wall. Guy next to me was a youngin playing tennis was asking what game I was playing as he hadn't seen a ball and racquet like that. I explained it was am indoor game fast moving and intense. Man I felt old.
