Also opening the flaps on their box, stepping out and walking away. Never looked back, created my own 'family' of friends instead.
It might take longer than you think (or want) for it to happen, but it's worth it.

Yes, it's called being transparent, with specifics. Not the vague 'reported' which could lead to speculation... then when Mr. B did clarify, he'd be accused of hiding the facts.

This is tangentially in my life, b/c I watch animal-rescue videos to find positive actions from good people in the world. Antidote to the 'news' ... this one's amazing, rescuing a huge elephant from a deep well.

The judge isn't included in the gag order... but I'm sure the Orange Cheeto Menace believes his stories.
My parents were narcissistic, one much more than the other, and their 'reality' came from the lies they told over and over.
As if tRUMP wasn't bad enough, he's also a trigger for me... arrrgggh

Mr. Harris... I just donated to your campaign - not only because MT Greene is a threat to our country, but also because of the things you say. GA deserves better, and you will be a valued member of the House starting next year.
Thank you for standing up - all the best,

MT (Empty) Greene says it'll be fun to watch Dems campaign on helping save GQP speaker. But she's all wrong (shocking, yes?)
Dems will campaign on collaboration where possible, to *get things done* FOR THE PEOPLE THEY REPRESENT, not their big donors.
Get a clue, Marge - better, get lost.

...besides, just show the videos of him 'dancing' or 'drinking water' because that's the epitome of masculinity, right? riiight?

100% they all do it.

I worked in Marketing/Comm at a major university for 10+ years. Wrote brochures, manuals, speeches - and polls. Boss would tell me what their boss wanted the outcome to be, and I had to frame the questions to appear fair, but provide that result.

9) Research and vet the candidates. Go to town halls or meetings and ask questions. Read up on which (not fake) organizations/people support them. Don't wait until election day or try to figure it out in the voting booth.

Great description! ♥️
Navigating a social media channel is akin to learning a program that has a ton of options. Say, photoshop - do I ever use all the stuff there? No, nor do I always know how to get to the parts I do want. But I have to learn the program's language, as it were, to make it happen.

My quirky opinions mean I'm usually not 'with it' (whatever's trendy), but also glad to see I have company in never having watched the show (or wanted to).
BF, otherwise a smart guy, loves that show (not part of our venn diagram overlap!)

Stepping back, away, can be the most sensible, bravest, smartest thing to do - even with the conflicting emotions. Or so it's been in my own experience, a few times along the way.

Take good care - and as others mentioned, I too, hope you will return.

Interesting... did not know it was connected to a shellfish allergy.
Many years later, after bingeing on shrimp, I developed a fast-growing tumor. One doc said allergy, but no one took her seriously; 2 gynecologic-oncologists diagnosed probable Stage3 uterine cancer. Tumor was benign.

I admire photographers who connect with big landscapes - they do it well. I did not (connect, or do, well :)
Also admire nature photographers who camp out for months on end waiting for the 'decisive moment' with their animal subjects - I'm no good at that, either!

Yes to this - I never cared about shooting landscapes or still life or anything other than people.
Portraits - casual or formal - are a conversation, a connection through the lens, between subject and photographer. It was what I loved most about working as a photographer ♥️ 📷️
