In the 1980s, tent-cities popped up on college campuses in protest of South Africa's Apartheid government/society. Kept the issue on the minds of people who may not pay attention. Suddenly, rock stars spoke up, boycotts began, and Apartheid is gone. Peaceful protests by young folks are powerful.

Not ruling out a plea deal this week, esp. if, as a first-time offender, he can get probation + a huge fine. He'll spin it as just another pesky court fine that by November people will forget/not care about.
