This is infuriatingly privileged thing to say.

If life likens to a poker game, whether you fold, call, or raise is determined by the cards you are dealt & THAT (emphasis) is something you have no control over. (Is it fate?) Hence generational wealth &/or poverty exists no matter what one chooses.

Little could be said about that concert. S&G sang their usual repertoire. That said, my personal history might have taken a different route.

Now I didn’t know the 2 girls seated next to us. I sat right by one of them & during the show, we often looked at each other, danced & sang together.

However, the girl's friend had a tad too much to drink. The girl beside me and I talked a bit after the show, but she had to go and take care of her friend in the lady's room. I think you may know where this is going. I didn't get her phone number, let alone her name.
