I’m a parent of two amazing kids.
The youngest is Trans.
I don’t understand a lot of things when it comes to that. I still screw up with the pronouns.

The Justice system is broken.
If someone were to rape or murder one of my children, and be found guilty, I would not trust a judge or jury to enact a justified punishment.
I would want to do it myself. And it should be my right to do that.

My kid texted me Saturday evening… he locked his keys in his car AGAIN. Luckily, I got him a spare recently, so I started the 25 minute drive. He texted that someone gave him string, and since his window was open, he would try to pull the lock. He did! This was the text later… I raised a good one.

Getting settled into the new home in Denver. All my family, except for me, are dealing with altitude sickness.
I’ve had an ear infection since November and am still on anti-biotics, so maybe that curse is a blessing?
I also smoke and drink beer like a fish…. Go figure!

For the last 6 years, my family of 4 has lived with ONE bathroom. We made it work, but…
I cannot tell you how amazing it is to now have 2.5 bathrooms.

I read that some teenage boys decided to use AI to create “naked” pictures of female classmates.
I don’t understand the point. It’s not real, but it still harms the girl because boys are dumb enough to think the fantasy is real.

The mushroom update…
I took 750mg and got nothing. I added a small-ish mushroom onto that, and still nothing.
Mind you, I’m all of 5’10” and 160lbs, so this should’ve been enough.
Am I just immune to psilocybin?

A couple years ago I got Lasik surgery. At 48 years of age, I finally got perfect vision after 38+ years of dealing with changing prescriptions, and untold out of pocket costs.
Insurance didn’t cover a dime of it. $7000 out of pocket, after years of $100-300 every six months or so of new lenses.
