Thanks for the info. I will check them out and @KimberleyJohnson had him on her podcast so I'm going to be listening to that as well.

Got it. I wasn't sure if it was a system thing or just me since I hadn't been on in a while. I appreciate the update.

I'm sure he's busy but at some point maybe he can add a system-wide notification tab that we can check at any time to see these things instead of them getting lost in the feed.

Buzz,

Sure, the price of the corporate-greed, profit-inflated items we use every day have dropped significantly thanks to Dark-Brandon but I may have to vote third-party because an 800-inch 128K TV is still out of my price range and how can the Average-Brandon deal with things like that I ask you?

You're probably correct to be cautious. I only asked since that "Emotional Support Kangaroo" thing was trending and I'm nowhere near any kangaroos.

What a cool idea although it looks more like a giant Hawaiian pork hash (nothing but pork in the siu mai). I used to make them for work potlucks and would have loved to surprise everyone with something like that. Do they come with a giant steamer basket?

Oy, it says right there on the label "Do not wash your emotional support kangaroo, they are self-cleaning."

I'll bet dollars to donuts you've washed a full-sized Panda with something red before haven't you?

I know the GOP is capable of running anyone no matter how inhuman they are but I suspect Rama Lama Ding Dong's time will be closer to when AI Max Headroom is doing all of corporate media. Oh wait, that could be next week. Crap.

Thanks. I got a paw swat once when I slowly presented a finger for her to sniff. No claws but she obviously wasn't ready. She may never be ready but I'll keep up the slow and steady trust infrastructure and we'll see.

I'd probably avoid trying to pet her until she works up the courage to trust you to feed her at close range. At that point a careful touch test might be accepted. Best of luck. I'm building a winter shelter for her since it's getting colder and will proceed with socialization in the spring.

Slow and steady seems to work best. Try using a treat like Inaba, squeezed onto a spoon keeping the distance where she feels comfortable then slowly bring it closer to you day by day. I have a TNR I've been feeding for a while and she appears to have never been socialized so it's slow going.

Also, to you (or the multiple yous out there) who first uttered some version of my dad joke way back in, let's say, 1982, my apologies for the theft of "intellectual" property. I'd send you a residual check of $0.02 but I don't have your address.

I'd still be amazed that a microwave could generate so much focused heat for that to happen (without catching on fire itself) but if you could repeatedly harness that power you could start up your own micro-miniature glass foundry.

For years I tried to listen to unplugged music and found it very unsatisfying until someone finally told me the guitar is supposed to be unplugged, not my stereo.

You must have accidentally created a microwave mirror or lens which focused the energy to get glass hot enough to melt (which is incredible). Have you ever tried it with a ceramic bowl instead? I rather doubt it was affected by the ingredients.

I guessed that it was somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. I aimed for the southwest since it was less likely to have a cloud issue and Albuquerque and Santa Fe were almost perfectly clear. The balloon festival was also going on (which I didn't know about beforehand).

Trump ran because Obama made fun of him at the correspondents' dinner. The difference between a real and caring human like Joe Biden and a petty con-artist like Trump couldn't be clearer.

That sequence came out beautifully even with the cloud cover. Where was it taken from? I took closeups from Albuquerque, NM yesterday. The site seems to be having issues with photo uploads right now though so I can't post anything..

That's no Harvest Moon. It's a Harvest Space Station!

I've got a bad feeling about this.

(It's a good thing we don't live on Harvest Alderaan.)

This "Moon" was trying to sneak up on me last night but I caught it with the equivalent of a 2,400mm lens. it then slunk away below the horizon.

Definitely if that's the case. Looks delicious for sure. I think you are way farther north than I am. It does drop into the low 60's here at night but not until about 3am and that's barely enough to cool down the house with window fans so I'm still awhile away from "Stew / Roast Season" here.
