NPR is at it again! This a.m., they moaned about Biden not addressing student protests sooner. "Biden finally speaks," they said. "Is he leading? Or was he pushed?" They then squawked about Trumpty-Dumpty commenting on the protests "many times" and "praising the NYC police." Excuse me while I vomit.

So, in Pecker's testimony, he mentioned that the National Enquirer ran a poll on whether Trump should run in 2016 & 80% of readers said yes 'cause National Enquirer readers = Trump's base. Makes total sense that his sheep are folks who liked reading about aliens having babies with celebrities. 😝

My 11 y/o sixth grader had her first real experience with mean girls this quarter in an elective class. I emailed the teacher to ask if my kiddo could be moved to another table. I was ecstatic when the teacher said she understood and would make sure kiddo gets moved tomorrow. So thankful!

They are super comfortable! Beanie has been such a lovey since he came in October. His brothers took more time, but they're getting much more friendly and lovey, too. We feel lucky they found us! And I'm so relieved I could take the time to get them inside & to the vet. It was worth it!

Happy #caturday ! Here's a recent pic of the three stray brothers who were living under our front porch. Beanie (the one on the right) came in last October. I finally got his bros, Tuxie and Cutie, the day after Thanksgiving. They are such loveys! Still can't believe we have 5 cats in all!

Um, if someone follows me, and I go to their profile page and see zero spouts and zero followers and a bio that says PROUD SUPPORTER OF TRUMP UNTIL 2024, I am going to block. Because if it took a person until this year to stop being a proud supporter of Trump, I'm out. Just no. Nopity-nope-nope.

It seems pretty shaky. I did see they fired the guy who publicly complained that NPR is biased toward the left and right-wing nut-jobs can't trust it anymore (like they ever did!). Glad they got rid of him. Maybe he can go work at Faux News.

Had a lengthy conversation with my neighbor yesterday. She & her hubs are Catholic & Republican. But she's sick of Rs attacks on women's bodily autonomy, IVF & transgender children. She's been challenging her Catholic friends on these issues, too. I think this is happening all over. Feeling hopeful!

Had to turn off NPR (Nice Polite Republicans) this a.m. when they did a lovely little propaganda piece for RFK Jr. They even had a soundbite with Trump saying, "Oh, I'd vote for him if I was a Democrat. Dems should vote for him." Then they went on & on about the Kennedy legacy. 🤮🤮🤮

So, our Internet went out this morning, and I was like, "Nooo! I need to work out to my favorite trainer on YouTube!" Then I thought, why not go do two quick miles at the park? And that's what I did. It was awesome! I got to hear birds singing and see folks walking dogs. Weather is perfect. Sweet!

Getting ready to go vote! We don't have much going on around here, but I will never skip an election for the rest of my life. Even if it's voting for trustees for the local community college (which is on the ballot today). It's ALL important. We don't need book-banning psychos running anything!
