Americans are divided on their preference for daylight saving time versus standard time. But research shows that our bodies fare better when aligned with the natural light of standard time.

Dear Gen Z:
Republicans don’t want you to vote. They don’t want you to be on social media. They don’t want you to read books. They want control over your bodies. They don’t care if you survive school. Vote accordingly.

The richest 1% took home nearly twice as much wealth as the rest of the world put together over the past two years.
If that doesn’t convince you wealth inequality is out of control, I don’t know what will.

For a short time today, it felt like today would be the day I finally burned out, after 35 years in retail. It was touch and go, but I made it through. Soon I will plan my first actual vacation (not staycation) in decades.

I spent most of the Trump administration thinking "Why aren't people doing more." By the end, I realized no one was coming to save us so I asked myself why am I not doing more. 2024 isn't that far away and it's not going to win itself. While there's still time, ask yourself what you can do and do it

I'm having a stressful day, and one of my student employees just told me to take a chill pill. Dude, I wish I had one. Oh boy, do I wish I had one.

There are few things that can undo all the coping tools and workarounds I acquire over the course of a day more quickly than a trip through a grocery store parking lot.

I'm on Eliquis. It's expensive. A generic was approved several years ago. The manufacturer whined, they wanted to collect many more $$$. Now there probably won't be a generic until 2028.

I've been doing Duolingo for more than 5 years, and done lots of languages, even finished a few courses. I've started learning ASL with an app, and it's harder than I expected. I don't think it's the word order or grammar, I think it might be the visual component. Brains are weird.

I work with college students. Today one of them found an old audiobook in cassette form, and wanted to know what it was and how it worked. I am officially old.

Liking this a lot- listening to users' voices is a good plan. Many more companies should do it. Can't wait for the app!

In NC you can buy lotto tickets online (after registering & a waiting period.) So I bought 1 Powerball ticket. I tried to counteract my overthinking tendency wrt numbers (no consecutive numbers, etc) by covering the card with my hand while clicking the button. I have no idea what numbers I picked!
