Reading the federal indictment, I started having OJ flashbacks. This trial is going to be wild. And, it should be televised for all to watch like we all watched the OJ trial. My mom would tape it (yes, videotape) so we could watch after work.

I admit that I still have the bird app on my phone. I very rarely use it. Today, the birdie on it changed to X. It is so off putting to me that I moved it to another page so I don’t have to look at it. Yes, deleting is an option. I’m still choosing to be counted as one of the inactive users for now.

So, I just got disciplined on the bird site. 🤷‍♀️ I am rarely there but have been in the past week with the Russia mutiny. I only liked a handful of pro-Ukraine posts or media coverage of it, a friend giving a medical update, Cubs/Cardinals in London posts and Randy Rainbow. No retweets. Why?

This free-standing sculpture is made up of panels and geometric shapes of vivid yellow, crimson red, white, and slate gray, all outlined with bold, jet-black lines, to create a simplified, cartoon-like, single-story house. The sculpture sits slightly off the ground on four metal feet, and is displayed on a grassy lawn with an iron fence and trees in the background. One short end of the house faces us, to our left. The peaked wall is white and is pierced with a window divided into six empty panes, two across and three down, and flanked by red shutters. Above the window is a tall, rectangular air vent with six horizontal slats. Below the window a loose grid of three horizontal lines and four short, vertical lines suggest an abstracted brick pattern. This is my favorite tree in my yard. It is only yellow for a few weeks and then, sadly, it turns green and blends with the other trees for the rest of the season. I love it when it is yellow. 💛💛💛

I’d love to know what natural evolution gave this grackle species a blue head. It is such a brilliant, deep blue. It sure doesn’t blend into any body of water or sky I’ve seen. Not my favorite bird but I love that color.
