Those types are great at saying crap like that and keeping it vague so they can say " I wasn't talking about (THEM)". It's like everyone knows, but it becomes a technicality.

Right now he's on a Simpsons kick on the main TV. I think he is probably watching The Hobbit up in his room since it just arrived from Amazon for him. He's got about 4-5 shows he cycles through on the main ( we just finished Golden Girls a couple days ago)

Sorry :(
Looks like my son is feeling it too today, his meds are struggling to keep him balanced.

Here's hoping we all survive the day and tomorrow is better, right?

This one was green until it got ready to bloom. Then the tips began to turn purple/pinkish.

I think of a "village" type setting. Like you would see for elders working though dementia or memory loss. Or perhaps a summer camp type atmosphere? Live-in school setting? Something more where an aging parent can live as well to help "train" staff in their child's needs before they are unable to?

It's always a possibility that I may one day not be able to care for Bear ( my #SpecialNeeds son). I see the local DayProgram (s) walking about stores and the mall and think at this point in time- Bear would not be compatible. #AngerIssues

What does a good "day program" look like to you? What does "long term care" look like to you? Do you have an idea for some sort of transitional situation ( if it exists near you)?

Our local steampunk society used to do a cemetery picnic. There was always a little history lesson about someone buried there. I'm not sure they've had one since Covid.

I went to a small rural school in Jr. High. Practice was sometimes girls team vs boys. It was fine most the time (minus guy I took down for some very crude talk/actions *sent to office*). Granted, this was just practice, not competition. Anyways- maybe it's time for co-ed/open class sports options?

I have fallen into a very deep and sad " believe it when I see it" hole when it comes to him possibly being held accountable.

My hubs brought some n95's home ( that's what they say they are), but the foam around the nose-form and the straps are making my skin break out/burn. I've never had that happen before and have no known allergies. So back to the basic ones for now.
