My oldest child started their trans journey at age 40. It’s never too late to be yourself and be truly happy. It has not been an easy path. Friends turned their backs. Strangers were cruel. But our family is united. She is amazing and an inspiration for my grandkids: Be yourself. You are loved!

There are a tremendous number of quail running around my neighborhood. They are such cute amazing creatures and I love watching them.
When I was young my dad would hunt quail and dove, bring them home and cook them up wrapped in bacon. Makes my stomach turn now just to think of it. 😬

My 6 year old granddaughter makes “magic wands”. She finds sticks on our walks and draws pics of cats, butterflies, etc. and uses tape to stick them on top of the sticks. She told me that she is going to sell them for $1 and to ask my friends if they want one…

I just spent 4 days taking care of 3 grandkids- 6 year old twins and an 8 year old . I not only survived but I was a total rock star. I now feel I can accomplish anything. But first…I need a bottle of wine, a few gummies and 12 hours of sleep. 😊

Today is first day. So far we have:
-played vet with stuffed animals
-played school
-made and painted kites
-played 3 board games and 2 card games
-made books with pics
-went to park

I’m at my youngest daughter’s house checking in on my twin granddaughters’ twin cats. I found out they like to be pushed around in laundry baskets, have blankets put over them to play peek-a-boo, and like to be cradled and carried around…just like my granddaughters liked when they were younger. ❤️

Miss Angie is being a bit harsh on herself here. The truth is that the mental health care in this country is very hit or miss and while there are fantastic people/institutions who really do help there are also some really toxic ones too and/or sometimes things just aren't the right fit for you.

Raining hard with thunder/lightening. Opened the front door and it smells/looks like smoke. Being the good mom that I am I texted my daughter who lives about four blocks away to inquire if her house was on fire.
She just replied, “No…is yours?”

However, I walk to get three of my grandkids from school every day, and they do not feel the same way.
