The fox is turning 30! Star Fox was released for Super Famicom on February 21. 1993. Back then I was more lukewarm on it - I prefered crisp pixels to chunky polygons. Today, I really appreciate the game a lot more and wrote a print-retrospective in M! Games. #StarFox30th #SNES

At 85, the great #leijimatsumoto passed away on February 13. I remember watching the TV-adaptation of Queen Millenia on German TV. His mix of grandiose SciFi-concepts, etherial women, swashbuckling (anti-)heroes and small potato-people is timeless and fascinating. Rest in peace.
