I had a double-serve at Chena Hot Springs.
So that’s where I went for New Year’s Eve. There was dancing, food and fireworks.
The roads were great and the sky was clear.
Well worth the 120 mile round-trip.
All-in-all a great night.

Eviction papers can be served on almost anyone who answers the door. The assumption is that if you’re answering the door, you live there.
So when the door gets slammed in my face, I just holler that I’m leaving the papers in the door.

Friday I towed a 23’ RV to Anchorage. White knuckle driving on very icy and snow-laden roads out of Fairbanks to Denali.
Getting back to Fairbanks last night I encountered the scene in the attached video.

When a tree is blocking vehicle access & the door is padlocked from the outside, it’s a good sign no one’s home.
It’s also a good sign they’re out of town for awhile.
It was a 30 mile drive each way. I’ll wait a week or two before trying again.
