The northern lights are doing their dance in the suburbs of Detroit. We used to see them in the sky above our cabin in the UP, but SE Michigan doesn't usually get this treat. Photos are from friends in Westland and Ferndale.

This calendar was a gift from John for my birthday last December. It makes me smile every day.

Y'know . . .we didn't find it necessary to shoot our magnificent boy Dell, and he had a brain tumor. He left the world on his own terms after a too short but very wonderful life. No damned gravel pit for him.
