Today was a day. Had our CARF audit at work. Spent many late nights recently preparing for it. Seems to have went well? Glad I can now breathe. Next year we'll have to deal with BSAS, but that's a later-me issue. For now, just glad to be back to the norm. All this stress has made me irritable...

An update:
I threw away my soaked shoes/socks (it was my left foot that got the majority of it) and immediately took a scalding-hot shower when I got home. They don't make water hot enough...
I bought a new pair of work shoes today. Now I'm going to eat junk and maybe an edible to help forget.

When today started, I didn't know it would end this way... However, we all expected this for a while now. He just turned 14 on 7/4 and had a stroke a few months back so it was coming. He had a long, happy life and he knew he was loved up until his last breath.
