I was only 3 when this happened but i remember when i learned this fact in my early 20’s and i was shocked. I mean i knew women had struggled for equality but hadn’t realized the level of oppression was so bad only a few years before i was born.

I was walking by one of the restaurants down the street from my shop during the holidays and they had a bunch of tables outside loaded with bags. The waitress said they were "Meals for anyone who wants one, hundreds of them, free, just take and go." It made me so glad we chose this neighborhood!

As Marc Elias knows well, GOP are working assiduously to infiltrate county & state elections offices/Secretary of State offices in swing states to try to have moles on the inside with access to ballot verification (esp. mail-in) & ballot counting. There's been 40% turnover in elections officials.
