I've been under the weather, but I'm happy to say the 4 dolls are finally headed to the post office, along with 2 teddies, for the kids at OLCJC. I haven't forgotten them. Been dealing with an RA flare. But I've started a yellow bear for the next shipment, which will go to a Yurok shelter.

I dabbled at knitting when my boys were young. I started a Fair Isle project with color changes, set it down for a couple days, and returned to find the boys had cut the yarn to make pretend fishing poles with it. Gotta love 'em...

Note the blue sky in the lower right hand side. Plenty of blue patches in the sky except for the giant mass hanging over our house. I did get to see a bit of the eclipse, when it looked like somebody bit half of it off.

Our neighbor, who suffers from the beginnings of Alzheimers, was out in her back yard when we ducked out to check on the progress of the eclipse. I gave her a pair of our eclipse glasses so she could watch in safety.
