Today’s day off: 630 am hotel swim for 2 hrs. Shower. Checkout. Walked downtown for a coffee and Italian lemon cake & sat in the sun talking to an out of state friend. Went to city park and community pool. Lazy River. Lap lane. Sunshine. Thanks for the hospitality, Bowling Green! Much needed.

Absolute Zen today. I have a rare day off from nursing. Drove to another city/state 3.5 hrs away. Recreated. Checked into hotel. Floated for 3 hours ALONE, just my iTunes playing in the pool. It was marvelous. I didn’t have to do anything for anyone. Le sigh. Now hitting the room to nap.
