One quirk of the Spoutible algorithm absence is a sudden influx of likes/echoes of forgotten past spouts, seemingly without rhyme or reason. But since this is one of my early Spoutible limericks, there is at least rhyme in this case.

As a break from all the #DinoPorn filth, here’s some #VarnishPorn . Yeah, I know. That’s never going to trend. Anyway: Four recent works with a coat of gloss varnish over an isolation coat of soft gel gloss to protect the paint. Next comes the Matte varnish which will photograph without this glare.

Can’t wait to see this exhibition. Considering how close to my heart its star portrait is (see my homage on my profile page), surprised I had no idea it was based on a copy of a Da Vinci caricature.
