That does make sense. I know he feels bad about being manipulated by Esme and unleashing her on friends and family. I don't see him as unredeemable by any means. He really was protecting Ace, at least in his own mind.

I don't understand how he could forgive Nikolas so easily. He didn't take much persuading to do something so rash. Hopefully he will eventually pay, somehow.

And dismissed. But apparently Brook Lynn has another plan. I still don't see what Tracy could have done to keep her from selling the company, though.

I was just thinking that Lucy would be the easy way out, knowing how she would react if someone else got 'her' company. Talk about a toxic work environment! Everyone would be miserable.

That heavenly voice, that beautiful presence. Who could not be moved by her? She was my grandmother's favorite, and I grew up listening to her. Thanks for posting this.

It's actually kind of shocking that with so many people finding out what Gladys did, it took this long for Sonny to hear about it, since he has eyes and ears everywhere. And it took Nina telling him. But for all her faults, we know that Nina loves Sasha.

I hope there's a plan to keep Montague from drugging Sasha again. For some reason, everyone seemed so sure that she'd be safe this time.

She's so self-righteous and rigid, but also sneaky in the ways she tries to undermine Trina and Spencer's relationship. It's not as if she doesn't have her own skeletons, like keeping the truth from Trina, Taggart and Curtis for 20 years. (And yeah, where is Taggart?)

A better team would have taken advantage of the way United approached the second half.

I'm a Tennant fan, too, but I just think Eccleston's one season set the tone for the series and set some good story lines in motion. Smith's quirkiness drew me in. His tenure was so much fun. (Great companions, too, but that can be said for all of them.)

I'm a Matt Smith guy, but I'll back the Eccleston love all the way. (My friends are all "Tennant or I don’t care.")

In my (biased) view, the difference was Onana's howler vs. the handball penalty against Eriksen. I just visualize those two plays going differently, and I can see United as a legit threat going forward.

Yeah, that famous wedding was over 40 years ago. Still a few other characters around from that era, but not many.

Well, they killed Luke off (we think, you can never be sure with soaps) a few years ago, and Laura is currently on a caper in Russia with her new husband. So obviously, things haven't changed much.

Trina and Spencer have enough obstacles in their path already, and Trina is trying so hard to keep her family together. Portia needs to give them a break.

The tighter the noose gets, the more I like it. I think her only way out is to come clean to Sonny and let him take care of Selina and Dr. Montague as only he can. Gladys will then have a pretty steep price to pay herself, of course, but I'd be all in for that.

Isn't it funny how high expectations can be brought down to earth so fast? Chelsea and United looked pedestrian at best. Same old Everton, creating chances they can't convert and leaking goals at critical points in the game.

I was impressed with the composure they showed after the red card. Palace kept coming at them and they held up well.

As for making a run at City, I'd love to see it, and Arsenal has more depth now. Foden was an adequate fill-in for DeBruyne this week, but that's not really his role.
