Never forget that Social Security & Medicare are savings plans that all workers contribute to from every paycheck their entire working life. (Though it's income capped for the wealthy.) When Republicans say they want to end Social Security they are saying they want to steal your savings.

I remember back when Biden was primarying for office in S.C. Most of the people pollsters needed to reach were not social media users, they walked, went door to door in an outreach to these people. It worked and put Biden over the top.
