The Kid and I got ours on 10/1 and have each dodged transmission from more than one confirmed exposure. Anecdotal, but I like those results.

As Black Americans began to demand their civil rights after WWII, the issue of white control of Black hairstyles started to spread again. Many Black war veterans got use to their natural hairstyle while fighting in Europe. Variations of the "fade" were popular. White men saw this as Black defiance.

Here is sad public health story. When I was working in TR I had never heard of SSPE, a complication of measles. My boss said the folks on the support registry we were creating were probably the last who'd ever have it because we were eliminating measles in a few years. It was 2007
