Taking photos can be quite difficult when your subject is in the #grass . My camera wants to focus on the grass and not the subject which is so frustrating! Yesterday I was walking a path at Cape Henlopen. I was alone & spotted this guy down the path. I was #tense because I heard they can be aggressive. This Tom Turkey was in full display. American Bittern - wading bird with long bill, streaked neck with neutral colors - brown, beige, yellow. Same color as the marsh it tends to hide in making it a pain to find.
