We're having our first seder with others since Covid. We used to have 30 people. Maybe again someday. For tonight, eight total, all immediate family, and outside. Waiting to put out the matzo and the wine.

Mmm. Matzo crack. We now have way too much. A shame, really.

Recipe and history in next spout.

Only four Ingredients:

4-6 unsalted matzos
1 cup unsalted butter or unsalted Passover margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed firm
3/4 cup chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
MY TRADEMARK, MOST REQUESTED, ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT CARAMEL MATZOH CRUNCH An outstanding, unique, and easy confection. If you make only one thing at Passover, make it this one. 4-6 unsalted matzoh boards or sheets 1 cup unsalted butter or unsalted Passover margarine 1 cup brown sugar, packed firm 3/4 cup chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F. Line a cookie sheet completely with foil. Cover bottom of pan with baking parchment - on top of foil. This is very important as mixture becomes sticky during baking. Line bottom of pan evenly with matzoh boards, cutting extra pieces of matzoh, as required, to fit any spaces on the cookie sheet as evenly as possible. Combine margarine or butter and brown sugar in a 3 quart, heavy-bottomed, saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. 2. Just tiny flowers planted by the birds, so I don't know what they are. But they are tiny and beautiful. The purple one is vinca, and that one isn't so big either, but it's about twice the size of the others.

It was terrifying. I became an antinuclear activist on that day.

Moved to NYC in August, got a leaflet on the train for the September 23 1979 rally, and it became my life for five years. I also got to work a couple of the No Nukes concerts! MUSE raised a lot of money for groups to do the work.

This was my first album. Dark Shadows. Really. But my brothers mocked me incessantly for not getting Abbey Road first, so Abbey Road was second. Didn't work. They never stopped mocking me for it. I still love them anyway.

Any idea what this is? Is it new? Why would anyone buy a ticket for the Verrazano? (For those who don't know, this is the bridge between Brooklyn and Staten Island. it's either EZPass or Tolls-by-Mail.).

Edit: Searched it: there are supposedly tours, but I don't see any. Weird.

This was my first attempt at making a challah with six strands. You say braid, I say #weave . Next time, I'll have a kitchen scale so the strands will be the same weight. In the meantime, it was delicious, thanks to Claire Saffitz and my brother.
