I think #BrittneyWatts was traumatized after delivering a stillborn baby and leaving the corpse was not malicious or criminal. Prosecuting her for abuse of a corpse seems particularly cruel to do to a mother already mourning the loss of her baby. I think the case should have been dismissed.

It matters that Brittany Watts is a Black woman. There's good reason to believe she wouldn't be charged if she was white. AND since she's Black, folks are less likely to have heard her story. AND there IS a comparison between her and Kate Cox, 'cause white reproductive trauma is more sympathetic.

Fantastic news! You still need to protect yourselves with yearly mammograms! Early detection saves lives (I’m an 8-yr Stage 1 & 2 cancer survivor)! And if breast cancer runs in the females of your family, men should get mammograms as well (yes, men get it too!). #survivor

i've been angerly-baffled myself since the such surprising/promising early events unfolded...into a friggin' dud acquittal - and on all 16 charges!
arrghhh
leaves less promise for paxton's unresolved 'troubles' corruption/obstruction/abuse of power, et al.
