We freeze and can much of what we grow except the tomatoes. We’ve got over 30 plants in, some heritage, some hybrids. We give at least half away fresh and some salsas we make. Jams, and preserves of fruit, cider, some hard cider for fun. Corn, beans both frozen and canned. Much more too.

Seems to me you have to log in to Google and share more info about yourself to customize ads. Sure that you really want that? I regularly ad-block and clear cache/personal trackers every time I close any browser. The crap ads about rat poison and Walmart camera bozos are a small price to pay.

Nah, mere flesh wound. The saw tine stuck in my right middle fingertip hurt and bled though. Took a whole roll of gauze as a compression bandage to stop it. Healing and infection free so far. Yes, it has been war.

Scar in development… back of the hand whacked on base of office chair after an unscheduled backflip and judo style landing. Caused by the unscheduled release of the bullnose edging that came off my desk while trying to pull the desk away from the wall.

Problem is that the fretboard radius and fret appearance is bogus plus the fret mark “dot” appears to me to be in the wrong place. The nut would not support a low E string in that position and the pickguard is not wide enough to guard the body finish. It is just an AI screw-up.

Brainwashed by the far right into disbelieving any media could be “fair”. Particularly anything with the word Public” in the name. They cut it out of any government funding long ago… we pay for it to remain on and relevant. Support NPR and PBS!

Well actually they don’t normally go aggressive. The big ones can if irritated. My son was one of lucky who were allowed to join the group. I had to watch. In this environment, the koalas are more likely to treat people as mobile trees.

2/2 That was when I began to understand just how infuriating it was for the “non-geek”. My wife says computers (and other electronic devices) just work when I sit down with them. It is the old “TV repairman syndrome” I guess. I want some of those days and months back now!

1/2 I started a bit earlier, but yes, if you are not willing to waste hours twiddling bits, it is aggravation. I am too ADHD/spectrum to give up. Later it was just a PITA when there was a work deadline and software or OS decided to malfunction.

Fantastic... That is what often happens when you poke and prod at Windows enough. I would like to know if the pattern repeats after reboot. Also... always plug in USB memory sticks and drives AFTER you boot up. Don't leave them in. That is inviting a bit of mischief even if your antivirus is good.

2 of 2… Restart computer without the drive plugged in, Then plug it in, see if you can eject the drive after everything has settled down. Let me know what happens.

1 of 2 Almost always safe. There are a few poorly written applications that will leave a file open but it sounds like you have closed all of the apps (and more) so let the Windows shut down work. Unplug drive and restart. See if you get the same behavior without the drive plugged in.

Sorry… I did miss you saying that. Had this happen. You can ask Windows to shut down anyway. The OS will try to close out the program properly in a forced shut down. Did the external drive have software that was installed to your computer when you first used it?

My take: Do what you love best! It took me 3 years to settle in. It is really worth the exploration journey... just don't sit at home... you may hit some dead ends, but you have abilities and talents that others need. I had no idea in 2021 that I would be doing what I am now. BL: Have Fun!
