Important bit of history this Veterans Day/Remembrance Day/Armistice Day: The document signed that ended the fighting on the Western Front on 11/11/1918–it wasn’t a peace treaty. It was a CEASE FIRE. It was an agreement to stop the killing so a peace treaty could be negotiated.

Waiting for all the VSPs who will pick out the ways Beshear distanced himself rightward from DC Democrats and yet ignore the way the KY governor leaned in hard on the social safety net, civil rights and reproductive rights.

#electionresults2023 CBS News estimates the race for Kentucky governor is now LIKELY in favor of Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear.

You gotta laugh at people in the legacy media “explaining” that Jim Jordan is “to the right” of Steve Scalise. As if any of this Republican infighting is policy-based.

The GOP uniting behind Lee Zeldin would be pretty funny since he shared a campaign treasurer with George Santos—Nancy Marks—a treasurer who just pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the U.S. government in a campaign finance scheme. A scheme she also used to help Zeldin.

So, here I am looking for something to take my mind off another disappointing Dodgers season, something to make me forget all the games I slogged thru, the 81 times I stared at the same faces behind home plate at Dodger Stadium…

Oh look, Hulu has resurfaced “Moonlighting!” 🤦‍♂️

Just in case you were wondering what happens when a political party doubles down on racism, xenophobia and the delegitimization of civil government in a relentless attempt to keep its titular leader out of prison….

If wastewater testing is now one of our best indicators for Covid, why does NYC only publish data 1X/month?

Samples are taken 2X/week. The last published report showed a 200% increase. We need more frequent updates to keep our city safe. #CovidIsNotOver https://www.thecity.nyc/he...

NYC sewers we’re built to handle up to 1.5” of rain per hour. Today, the sewers saw 2.5” in an hour—with predictable, unpleasant results. Anyone have a plan for that? Anyone? Mayor McSwagger? Governor Pocketliner? Anyone?

Here is Rep. Steve Scalise in a mask because he is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and so, is immunocompromised during an ongoing pandemic.

Yet, amazingly, at many US hospitals, masks are not required—not for patients, not for healthcare workers—even in oncology departments.

Pundits tut-tutting abt how the Trump hush-money case isn’t serious enough for a first prosecution need to fall back.

These payments were made during a presidential campaign in order to deceive voters & affect the outcome of an election. Like J6, it’s a crime against Democracy.
