If you are feeling lost today, know that you are not alone. Being lost is not a setback, but an opportunity. It's a chance to reset, rediscover, and reignite your passions. In these moments, seek out like-minded souls; finding community can be the compass that guides you home.

Replace the summary with the AI's answer to this question "What will a reader learn from reading this thread?" That provides direct value to the reader without spoiling the artistic or creative intent of the author.

I apologize for the lack of alt-text, but having to create a thread in images is a ridiculous hoop to be forced to jump through if one wants to avoid having their story spoiled. It's not accessible friendly, nor is it mobile device friendly. @Spoutible needs to reconsider and add an opt-out.

I have now been blocked by @cbouzy for no reason other than he disagrees with my analysis of his flawed AI Summary feature. What a loser move.
I have been nothing but Spoutible's biggest defender on this and other platforms.

John Frost @johnfrostThe flaw in your logic is that a summary is read before the thread. What you call 'immediate access' follows having whatever mystery, joke, or lesson imparted spoiled by the summary. The summary neuters those moments, it doesn't augment them, That is a rewrite of the intent of the thread.06:23 PM - Oct 04, 2023

Christopher Bouzy @cbouzyOnce again, it is a summary that is literally located on the unaltered thread. The user has immediate access to the thread and can determine whether the summary is accurate or not. Some are acting like AI is rewriting their thread. Users can ignore the summary and read the unaltered thread.06:12 PM - Oct 04, 2023

Apparently @cbouzy got up on the wrong side of the bed today and decided to take it out on everyone who can plainly see the limitations of an AI Summary for a variety of use cases. I will take his advice and post no threads, just links to my threads elsewhere.
Christopher Bouzy @cbouzyWe understand some user's frustration, but we will not have an on/off toggle for summaries. We will improve the feature, and the accuracy will get better over time, but it will not be an opt-out feature. If you choose not to spout threads because of the summaries, that is your decision.05:58 PM - Oct 04, 2023

Here's another use-case for @cbouzy to consider to allow to opt-out of AI summaries for threads. No one wants their heartfelt stories about their loved ones summed up by an AI. [insert swear words liberally above]
Myron Clifton @PresidentKamalasHandTry the new AI thread summary feature. It’s interesting and adds value. I’d say turn it off for any threads that are obituaries but other than that it seems cool.05:41 PM - Oct 04, 2023

Thread summary is a reader-friendly feature, but as an author I am frustrated that there's no way to turn it off for threads where a summary could never capture the journey or mystery I want to evoke.
This is probably a me thing, not a @cbouzy thing. But "Sorry, no." is not giving me good vibes.

The Creator wasn't a perfect film, especially that third act, Gareth Edward's achilles heel, but it was a fine science fiction film with plenty of interesting commentary on wars past and present. It's also visually stunning, which given its small budget, is notable. Worth seeing on the big screen.

The hearing to move Trump's case in Georgia to Federal Court is an affirmative defense. That means Trump would have to testify to prove he was doing legitimate work of a Federal official, which, of course, he wasn't. No lawyer should ever allow Trump to testify under oath in court.
